Weekly Groups Term 3 - 2026
In 2026 Term 3 we have five groups running. Other groups might spawn during the term.
All groups are starting in the first week after the July Holidays
You need a membership number before adding yourself to a waiting list. If you signed up previously it would have been emailed to you.

Tuesday: Science Lab
This group is for those into science in all its fun and weird dimensions.
The Term 3 topic is not yet decided (last term it was Space). The science lab is a terrible, horrible group, full of thinking, questions and chaos. Yes, frequent chaos. As usual we have a plan,but we will meander into other topics - nothing is ruled out.
There is science in everything.Tuesday 3:15 to 5:30 (it is ok to arrive up to 4pm) - Ages 9-15

Wednesday: Projects Lab
This term, Wednesday 3:15 to 5(ish) is the lab is open for anyone to use if you are doing a thing. Your thing. Ages 13+:
This is Open Lab time - it is your time where you can work on projects whatever that happens to be. It is “serious time” for those want more time in the Lab to get stuff done. Whatever that is for you. Even homework.

Friday: Coding and Robotics Lab
Coding, building robots, inventing games, playing games, this is our tech playground day
In the Coding and Robotics Lab it is ok to arrive upto 3:55pm. At this time we go into serious mode till about 5pm.
Friday 3:15 to 5(ish) for 9 to 17yrs

Friday: “Whatever” Lab
For those 13+ This is our time to be Social, Create, Make and Break. People will be coding, playing games (eg D&D), working on projects, and generally reinventing the world. The Whatever Lab is our playground for clever stuff. Disasters will be generated and averted in unequal proportions.
It is ok to arrive late or leave early. This is an informal time.
Friday 5:00 to 8:30(ish) for 13+yrs

Note that if you are staying late and would like dinner, we put in $10 each and get a shared takeaways. You don’t need to do this but it is a good option -
Friday: Dungeons & Dragons
Do you want to play Dungeons & Dragons with a group of likeminded people? Embark on epic adventures together. Beginners and experienced players are welcome! As we have enough people to create a new group we will do that. Currently there is a younger group and and older group. A new older group will form when there is enough interest - add your name to the list if interested in that
Friday 5:30 to 8:30(ish)
